Everything Changes
"Relationships move like waves. They ebb. They flow. They come. They go. They crash into each other. Like different genres of music they take the former, break it and try to make something new. Something better. Everything new is exciting and rings with the echoes of the old. If history repeats itself, then it’s just as likely that the same waves hit you that hit you before as Country & Western is just as likely to be popular again as you are just as likely to cheat on the one with which you cheated on your former significant other. Violent, crazy, hurricane fueled ocean to gentle, babbling brook; gasoline soaked carpet to naptime in a hammock. Saying, 'I love you' through gritted teeth. It’s hard, but you’re scared and you never let go. All lead to drowning/a lack of breath…then nirvana.
Opening your eyes in a field there is evidence of wind as the wheat bends towards you. It moves as your lungs inflate and you realize your breath is the catalyst. A loud laugh shakes the frame and you realize that it was pride and it’s not your breath that causes the wind, but rather the wind that allows you to breathe. It is everything: support, patience, hope, shelter= I really do LOVE you so. As you release control your body melds into your surroundings and you, it, we become one symbiotic being. It is finished."
