Growing up in a large family, Julieta felt invisible and experienced firsthand the "middle child syndrome." She learned early on that school was not what she expected it to be. Julieta had limited friends because she was confused about who her true friends were. She had to learn how to cope when faced with bullies at different phases of her life. She wants readers to know that the issues of bullying are real, and kids should not have to wonder if bullying is normal behavior.
