Upon retirement from the corporate world, I began to pursue my creative skills in a more serious way. With no formal training but encouragement from my family and friends, I joined an artist group; however, I never considered myself a professional artist. After winning my first blue ribbon in an art show, a friend suggested I allow myself the title. Although I have done watercolor and acrylic, I prefer oil painting. I love detail and creating photorealistic florals and some abstracts here and there. Ultimately, I want my art to make others feel happy. That said, I am always in awe how I've been blessed with the ability to capture a small portion of God's creation on canvas. In over 28 years of marriage, this is my first collaboration with my husband, Pat. We courageously share our hearts with you through our work.
