Lawrence's world starts spinning the moment he sees his high school enemy on the college campus in Galloway. He disliked his new surroundings already - the people were far too low class and the town way too busy - but at least the high school days were over, and his childhood friend Nicholas got assigned to be his roommate. And now? Now the one who bullied him throughout high school is here, and will probably torment him all over again. And Nicholas, while being a true friend, is as annoying as ever.

However, as time passes, Nicholas and Lawrence learn more about each other...and there's no way Nicholas would let anyone harm his dear friend. Fearing that this old high school friend could be a bad influence on Lawrence, Nicholas does his best to keep them away from each other, and a study abroad program announced by the University seems like the perfect opportunity for that - until it becomes the exact opposite.
