0After two tours in Vietnam, the cruel war continues to haunt Bill O'Leary, as he tried to escape the terrifying nightmares and the nagging restlessness by becoming an itinerant banjo player. The applause from his audiences becomes his solace, dragging him away from the woman and son he loves. His wanderings and adventures take him to Wyoming, New Mexico, California, Arizona and finally, Las Vegas, Nevada. With his banjo a constant companion, he experiences love, friendship, sadness, a catharsis and ultimately contentment, as he struggles to shed the shroud of war.
