4Galison's Monet Waterlily Garden keepsake box of cards features a view of the famous Japanese bridge in the artist's garden at Giverny from White Waterlilies, 1899, in the Pushkin Museum, Moscow on the outside of the box. The image is reproduced on four of the 16 cards inside. Other waterlily images included are: Waterlilies, 1906, from the Worcester Art Museum, Massachusetts; Waterlilies and The Agapanthus both painted 1914-17 and both from the Musee Marmottan, Paris. -Suddenly I had the revelation of how magical my pond is. I took up my palette and since that time, I have scarcely had any other model.- -- Claude Monet. The sturdy decorative box holds cards and envelopes neatly, and when the cards have been sent, it's great for storing all sorts of little things--from extra buttons to pearls.
