The soldiers remove her teacher from the school and replace her with a strict instructor who teaches the children to memorize Communist theory. After soldiers desecrate the church, she makes a heroic decision to sneak into the church at night to be with Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Many years later her actions inspire Bishop Fulton Sheen.
