Mental illness is a real and serious illness. Several people experiencing mental illness may never receive treatment. Mental illness can worsen over time to the point the effects devastate one's life if not addressed resulting in broken relationships, job termination due to reduced and unmet productivity, social isolation and loneliness, health challenges (reduced immunity, ending remission of terminal illnesses, headaches, fatigue, abdominal discomfort), addictions, sleep interruption, appetite changes, suicidal thoughts, and completed suicide resulting in death.
In Christian counseling sessions, there are three people, the person receiving counseling, the provider, and the Holy Spirit. God heals by miracles, signs, and wonders...over time...and by using clinicians.
As we reflect upon the wisdom shared in God's Compassion Towards Me, each one of us can see ourselves in some part of this book.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. III John 3:2.
