Revelation Decoded is a Biblical paraphrase of the book of Revelation. What is a Biblical paraphrase? A Biblical paraphrase allows the Bible to explain itself. When a symbol appears in Scripture and the meaning in unclear, the symbol is revealed elsewhere in the Bible. A Biblical paraphrase simply finds the meaning of the code words, and inserts the meaning into the passage. In a typical paraphrase translation, the author rewrites the passage for simplicity's sake, at the risk of changing the meaning.
