Gulmira is excited for her first train adventure, but her Papa says it's bedtime. In the morning they'll be home in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. There's no time for exploring.
But when everyone falls asleep, she's pulled from the train by an angry witch with an injured house. Baba Yaga demands the girl find three peculiar ingredients for a healing potion, then sends her out into the dark open night on a flying mortar.
Alone and in her pajamas, Gulmira searches for a three-eyed fish, dancing horse milk, and cloud worms. If she doesn't come back with everything, she'll be turned into a camel servant.
Can Gulmira find these strange things? Can House be healed with a potion? Will she be turned into a big furry animal?
One thing is for sure, Gulmira gets more adventure than she ever could have imagined.
