Kitan lives in a castle, plays with her sling, she loves her mama's stories of crossing the Red Dragon Bridge and she loves to dream. Kitan dreams of all the things she will do once she gathers the courage to cross the Red Dragon Bridge.

Kitan has lots of dreams. Do dreams really come true? Her mother told her stories of bravery, like David and Goliath, and showed her how to be brave by crossing the Red Dragon Bridge. Kitan decides that on her birthday she will make all her dreams come true and sets out with her slingshot and chocolate chip cookies to cross the Red Dragon Bridge. Will she find her courage? Or will she return home to the castle?
