Her poems are filled with humor and are sensitive, thoughtful, honest, and broad in scope, ranging from ski days to romances, from solo hikes to observations on wildlife, from travel with friends and family to dreams that she was a redhead. Her illustrations were almost a daily production. She was an expert skier, a mountain climber, a hiker, a knowledgeable conversationalist about wildflowers of Colorado, especially around Aspen, a cook/chef, a lodge owner, a mother, a world traveler, and so much more.
