Derrick suffers from Athazagoraphobia, the fear of being forgotten. His whole life has been dictated by this disorder. Despite only having a real connection with one other person, his brother, Derrick has always felt immense pressure to be the life of the party, to be memorable. So, when the opportunity arises, he volunteers to participate in a medical study that might cure him.
After his treatment, Derrick wakes to find the medical team dead at his feet. He begins a panicked search for help, but nobody can see him. It is the worst possible thing that could happen. If they can't see him, how can they remember him? Fear-stricken, he flees the hospital. The next morning, he wakes in his home hoping it was all a terrible nightmare. He quickly discovers that it wasn't. Derrick has been given the power to turn invisible.
Determined to cure himself of this power, Derrick enlists the help of the three other power-afflicted survivors. Together they set out to learn what happened to them and how to rid themselves of their powers. When their investigation leads them to a serial killer with inhuman speed, they have a decision to make. Will the group overcome their fear, harness their abilities, and face the villain, or will they give in to their anxieties and allow countless innocents to die?
