9In this book, Gidey Amare enlightens the readers about the genocidal war waged against the people of Tigray and the intolerable suffering they endured. When the world failed them, the Almighty God helped them remain strong, patient, and resilient. He offered them leadership and the ability to defeat the evil enemies who had planned and launched a brutal genocidal war to exterminate the entire ethnic group. The enemies put the entire population of Tigray under complete siege to block humanitarian aid and starve the people to death. They publicly campaigned not only for the total elimination of TPLF and its supporters from existence but also for the abolition of any work, artifacts, signs, symbols, monuments, edifices, books, and any other material of significance from Ethiopians' sight and memory, to prevent anyone from remembering TPLF and the Tigrayans who gave birth to TPLF. They called on educating children that the people of Tigray are the enemies of Ethiopia and that TPLF is a typical example of how Satan can be used as a ghost to terrify children.
Sadly, the international community has been lulling the perpetrator of the genocidal war, Mr. Abiy Ahmed, and has used every leverage they have to save him. The international community has chanted "Never Again" for years but to no avail. They have defined jargon of words, such as genocide, justice, equality, tyranny, and dictator, with no practical application. The complexity of the genocidal crime committed against Tigrayans is exceedingly beyond the traditional definitions.
The international community has remained unresponsive. This has emboldened perpetrators to continue their crimes with impunity. The international community is enabling fascism to flourish. It has become an undeniable reality that the driving factors for the international community to act are race, geopolitical interests, and economic greed but not humanity and morality.
