Then, Now, and Forever documents the author's personal messages he received from God through his nightly dreams. The author began experiencing these special messages from God at a very young age. He did not understand that the dreams were messages from God until adulthood.

Sharing those dreams with his wife, Patty, she insisted that he journal the messages he was receiving. Hal ignored his wife's advice until about twenty years ago when the dreams became very persistent. At that time, Hal began following Patty's advice and sat down and began writing his dreams which eventually resulted in the book Then, Now, and Forever.
