This is a story about a seventy-one-year-old retired medical researcher who faces amputations because of poor circulation in his legs. To get through this tragedy, he relies on a spiritual journey consisting of God, country, and the capture of his father by the Japanese on Wake Island at the beginning of WWII. Through prayer, meditation, and determination, God has granted him over twenty-five years of continuous sobriety and also allows us to meet a dream team of current physicians. His voyage then takes us for a visit with his angels, his spiritual advisors, and spiritual guides. For the first time he reveals an out-of-body spiritual experience after bypass surgery in 1999. You can finish his spiritual trip with him and his book In His Waiting Room.
