1The month of June is devoted to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, and it's just chock full of opportunities for plenary indulgences (and partial ones too)! Indulged prayers and practices in this month's booklet include the Consecration of the Family to the Sacred Heart (which can be done any time), the Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart (to be said on the feast of the Sacred Heart), two different plenary indulgences from which to choose for the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, and a whole slew of partially indulged prayers, including many litanies, which are kid favorites in my house. A partial indulgence is also attached to the included collect prayer of each feast day. Indulgences really are the ULTIMATE act of Christian charity, and are a beautiful thing of which to be mindful throughout the month of June and the whole liturgical year! You'll also find a blessing for bonfires, for the Eve of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. We have reached the end of the moveable feasts for the liturgical year with this booklet. Included here are Corpus Christi (a.k.a. the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus) which falls the Second Sunday after Pentecost, and the feasts of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts.
