7Germany, 1938. The escalation of anti-Jewish attacks prompts Kurt's mother to send him to England but when he's boarding the ship, he's mistakenly given a stranger's suitcase. Whilst attempting to return it to its owner, he meets Eleanor but his humble circumstances discourage him from meeting her again. Their paths cross later at RAF Holsmere where Kurt is a pilot and Eleanor a WAAF but is there too much death and destruction to consider taking a chance on love?
