6Interpretation of God's Word is one of mankind's greatest controversy. Then, to say the least, scientific reasoning only added fuel to this controversy with its own completely different views. And last but not least, compromise added nuclear fuel this controversy that caused a whirlwind of confusion and storms in the minds and hearts of many. Then, I want to add to this controversy by drawing your attention to Parables and Riddles of the Bible: "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance for understanding the proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the Wise (of Christ Jesus)." (Prov. 1:5-6) Because we live in a broken world (a really messed up world), there are many dreams and visions with good intentions that are blindsided by wrong motives caused by the pain of past disappointments. Then, to say the least, the many distractions the come from fear of failure and rejection gives the present condition of the brokenhearted permission to invite undesirable thoughts, feelings, and emotions that are self-destructive in nature. Yes, when blindsided by the pain of past disappointments, fear paves the way for the journey through the valley of indescribable pain and inexpressible sorrow with good intentions. Then, knowing the Truth is only the beginning of our battles to a Bittersweet Victory; for the foolishness of the cross frustrates all intelligence in the sense that it destroys the foundation of what we hold as truth to be nothing more than an illusion: "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: 'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate (Isa. 29:14).'" (1 Cor. 1:18-19) When the foolishness of the cross frustrates our intelligence, it will cause the wise to listen and add to their learning; it will cause the discerning to get guidance. Then, you will understand the reasons that cause a Bittersweet Victory.
