We live in the age of information, as some say, and, perhaps that is true. The problem with much of this "information" is that it is framed in the terms of suffocating ideologies. The larger conclusions have already been drawn by others on all sorts of things like climate change, life origins, justice ideas, education, democracy, and many others so that one is inevitably led to the desired conclusions even if they fly in the face of everything you have learned about yourself and the world you want to live in.
My purpose in writing this collection of essays was not so much to convert people to a particular way of thinking, but to motivate the reader to embark upon his own quest to become a clear-eyed seeker of wisdom and truth. This process produces quiet contemplation and study rather than anger and controversy.
Something is true about everything. Discovering what that is will change your life and open up opportunities that you never knew existed.
