The Beekeeper and The Turtle is about kindness and compassion. We all need more of these virtues, especially when going through hard times.

Kathie Heimsoth is a published author. Over Heimsoth's career as a teacher, parent of three children, and grandparent of eight grandchildren, she has witnessed this type of kindness and compassion. She hopes this book encourages others to show kindness and compassion. This book is really for children and adults of all ages. We all need to give and receive kindness and compassion. These virtues make our world better.

Jackie Jenkins is the illustrator for The Beekeeper and The Turtle. Jenkins, a former art teacher, continues to use her talent as an artist. She is very excited to illustrate her first children's book.
