Ask pub owner Nevan Malone anything about beer, wine and spirits and he's got the answers. But flowers? All he knows is they smell good, they're expensive, and women like getting them. So when his cousin, owner of Cupid's Headquarters flower shop, needs Nevan to watch the store for him, Nevan's completely out of his element. Plus he's stuck pet-sitting for his cousin's devious devil cat, which doesn't help lighten Nevan's grumpy mood. It's going to be one hell of a day.
To her horror, Aladee loses all her Cupid Academy class materials, including the map to Cupid's Earthly headquarters, during turbulence on her chariot ride to Earth from Mount Olympus. The capricious nymph fears she'll never be able to find Cupid, who'll be incognito. How will she ever make a positive impression on him before taking her final exam?
Nevan's dismal day starts looking up when a gorgeous, curvy, nearly naked blonde bounces into the flower shop, calling him Cupid and jabbering about nymphs, chariots and invisible wings.
Aladee's overjoyed. At last, she's found Cupid!
Nevan is cautiously captivated by the blonde, who's obviously a fruitcake, and probably a hooker. A nymph? The preposterous idea tickles him...right up to the moment her wings spread open.
