Written to members and friends of Christian church congregations, this collection of letters is not just for those of faith. The letters were penned from 1963 to 2003 and are organized by topic and date. Many of the letters reference news events of the time, but Dr. Landry's theology and philosophy of life are universal and speak to concerns in our world that remain relevant even today. The selected letters are meant to challenge people by broadening their perception of God and humanity. Dr. Landry was influenced by the leaders of his generation: Gandhi, John F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. These writings reflect his belief that faith should not be a retreat from the world, but should be demonstrated by acts of kindness, speaking out for social justice, and standing up for equality. Bob had always talked of publishing his words but he never found the time before his death in 2015. This is the first book to be published on behalf of Dr. Landry by his three daughters and his wife of 58 years.
