He serves in leadership offices with the Greater Orlando Baptist Association, the Florida Baptist Convention, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges & Schools. A pastor for more than 30 years, he has served churches in the Midwest and Florida. He has preached in nearly a dozen foreign countries and weekly on radio for nearly 20 years. A graduate of Ohio State University in journalism, he is a former newspaper editor and reporter and has contributed to numerous Christian magazines. He earned a Ph.D. in Pastoral Theology from Indiana Baptist College. He and his wife, Jackie, have three married children and six grandchildren.
