Shelby is a curious starfish who lives in the ocean with her mama. One day, her desire to explore gets the better of her and she wanders away. As she makes new friends with different animals under the sea, something magical happens. Each animal Shelby meets is a different color, and they all have a positive effect on her. Along the way, Shelby loses track of where she is and her new friends help her find the way back home. This book teaches children about friendship, ocean animals, colors, counting, and safety.
