Ingrid danced in two traveling Mexican circuses, sang in the grandest locations around the world, and was a bandleader in New York City, all by the age of 20. Based in New Orleans, she spent her life training to be a contender in traditional jazz on an international platform. But, midway through her adulthood, she developed a drinking problem that led to the downfall of her marriage and career, and threatened her very existence.
