Life has its moments of triumphs as well as moments of defeat. Nobody knows that better than James Levon King, a tall, dark and handsome basketball coach. It appears James has it all together from his exterior with the nice suits he wears and the car he drives. However, James is trying to mask the deep hurt that rejection can bring. James is a man of faith and a basketball coach at one of the local high schools. Without warning, James' life takes an unexpected turn. He meets and marries a beautiful, curvaceous woman named Diane Renee Bell. He suddenly finds himself entangled in a marriage that was never God's purpose. He unexpectedly must begin a journey of self-discovery and having to rely on his faith like never before. He needs to uncover the courage to confront his past demons of rejection and soar towards the life God intended for him to have. Only God knows if he can truly unmask himself and live the life he was destined to live. Joel Livingston is an educator, author, mentor and motivational speaker. Joel began educating our youth while providing support and encouragement to live their best life. He has been educating and mentoring young men and women for the past 18 years. He credits his resiliency, work ethic and his strength as a man to his mother and father; George and Marian Livingston. They provided a strong spiritual foundation for Joel at an early age.The Author graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He also received his Master's Degree in Educational Administration in 2012. He is originally from Kansas City, Missouri but currently resides in Dallas, Texas. He enjoys his days working out, traveling to different parts of the world and a good backyard barbecue with friends and family.
