This is a story of the great state of Texas. It is not a story in the traditional sense, as told from the "Texican," Americano, or a white eyes perspective. This is why I came up with the title, "A Different Kind of Texas." This story is told from the eyes of Hispanics and American Indians, and how we helped shape not only what is now Texas, but America itself. With a full heart, I ask that you now to please read on, as it is my sincere hope that you enjoy reading this tale as much as I enjoyed writing it.
