The puppet master pays him for his work, and Pinocchio sets off home, but soon comes across a pair of thieves, a fox and a cat. Disguised as lame beggars, they trick Pinocchio into paying for their dinner, and soon Pinocchio is set on a path that leads him, while trying to find his father, who has been fearfully searching for his wooden son, straight into the belly of a whale!
