1Seeking Good-Attracting Evil, delves into the life of Robert Jennings, vividly portraying the highs and lows of a life both with and without God. At first a quiet, ordinary child, Robert soon gained recognition when he excelled at sports, particularly basketball, and played professional basketball in Mexico. Upon returning to the United States, he played charity basketball and rubbed elbows with the rich and famous. But Robert eventually found the fast-paced life empty, leaving a significant void in his heart. After a night of partying, Robert accidently stumbled upon a tele-evangelical program. His life changed, as he was drawn to give his life to Christ and the fast-paced night-life, which was the norm, soon faded. Robert Jennings became a Christian in May 1975. In 1976, he was called to preach the gospel and was licensed in Los Angeles to preach in 1979. His ordination as a gospel minister occurred in 1984 and he soon served in church leadership as an elder and associate pastor in areas of Southern California. Robert also worked with youth groups, men's fellowships, taught Bible studies, and occasionally has spoken to congregations on Sundays over the last forty years. Robert majored in Christian education for three years. He received an associate of arts degree from L.A. Harbor College.
