The prayers stay true to the scripture references they are inspired by, but also present readers with logical prayers that they could easily say at any moment. The words aren't grandiose or too confusing to interpret but are straight from the Bible and written to be applicable to whatever situation a reader might be going through. Ethel Henderson Walker has a passion for bringing the truth and power of God's Word into everyday life through prayer. To this end, she has spent countless hours over the past twenty years in study of the Bible from the original Greek and Hebrew text.
