Monique Ladosz grew up in France during World War II as a daughter of an evangelist. Tired of the pain and depressing atmosphere of war-torn Europe, she moved to America as a young adult, hoping to find a brighter life. But challenges, loss, and pain continued there as she wrestled with the pressures of how to live the supposed Christian life. Through her struggles, she became acquainted with God in an authentic way.
This is the story of how she broke through the church's expectations and came face-to-face with an authentic understanding of God. In the 1990s, Monique became involved with a ministry that was working in Uganda and Rwanda. Her struggles and eventual redemption compelled her to walk alongside widows and orphans who were living tragic experiences of their own. Their stories are intertwined in A Rising Hope: Finding Purpose Through Tragedy, revealing the realness of a living God bringing heaven to earth in tangible ways.
