When Don begins to create an elaborate Christmas display in September, it immediately becomes a focus for all of Muriel's pent-up frustrations, and she starts a campaign to shut the display down, dragging her reluctant husband into the fray with her. Will Muriel and Don reach a compromise? And, most importantly, will their battle further divide the community, or will the residents band together to find friendship and, perhaps, love, in the midst of neighborly dysfunction?
