The inspiration for Peace and Crickets came to me one night as I sat outside in my rocking chair on my front porch. I was listening to how peaceful the crickets sounded chirping in the night. It was then that I felt like the Lord placed this story on my heart.

Peace and Crickets is a beautiful story between a widowed father, whose wife died during childbirth and his only child, a daughter, Lizzy.

Their journey through life together in small town Alabama is one that is filled with lots of laughter and tears.

Though they both have many ups and downs through life, there is no problem that love, prayer, and a little time sitting on the front porch swing, listening to the crickets singing their nightly song can't fix.
