What does it look like to wait on God while continuing to live on a mission for him?
Young missionary Kristine Akana knows what it is to live all out for Jesus while waiting on Him to fulfill a desire. In God, Missions, and a Man, Kristine paints a picture of her devotion to God and missions while persevering through life's mountains and valleys.
At seventeen years old, Kristine made the countercultural decision to save herself for marriage. Through bouts of loneliness and temptations, she holds on to her promise while earning her nursing degree and embarking on several mission trips. Traveling to Africa and Haiti, Kristine witnessed voodoo ceremonies, disease, and death but found her calling in spreading God's truth and love to the people, and especially to the children, of these developing nations. While living out her faith, Kristine eventually found love only to discover it wasn't the fairy tale she'd dreamed.
Kristine wrote God, Missions, and a Man as a memoir of her life and adventures in missions and as a devotional tool to encourage teens and adults alike to live a life set apart for Christ, to love Him more, and to trust Him through all circumstances.
