Would you agree that the present generation needs to be warned? God's indignation can be seen everywhere already, and yet it is mounting! Who can say how much time He will grant to sound the alarm? Silence at a time like this, knowing God will fulfill each promise in the Bible, even the negative ones, is a serious sin of omission.
Do you agree that our generation needs to be warned? God's indignation can be seen everywhere already, and it is mounting. Who can say how much time He will grant us to sound the alarm? If we neglect to do so while we flourish and enjoy full salvation, will we be held to account for this failure? The message from the church today is out of balance, bulked up on the side of God's love with warmth and comfort and with little or no teaching about the cold-water wakeup call of His holy justice.
Jude 23 (KJV) tells us, "some save with fear." We simply must love enough to tell others of the dangerous place their souls are in by continued presumption upon the grace of God (believers) or rebellion against Him (unbelievers).
Love Warns: The Mounting Indignation of God certainly falls outside the mass of today's Christian writing. Only one verse in all the New Testament speaks of God's severity, and it has to do with cutting off the natural branches (Israel) to in-graft the Gentiles in the plan of salvation. This is the very premise of Love Warns: The Mounting Indignation of God. All that God promised would result from Israel's unfaithfulness happened; hence, the Gentile world, including the church, can expect the same.
