5Better Days Are Coming is a personal memoir that chronicles the author's experiences with infidelity, divorce, other marital trials, and cancer, and how God helped her through them all. I was born and raised on a farm in a small town called Cotton Plant, Arkansas. I came from a household of 9, 6 siblings and a mother and father. We attended a small church every other Sunday along with other close relatives and friends. I was on the Honor roll and participated in school activities including Basketball and track and field. We grew our own garden with fresh vegetables, chopped and picked cotton. One of the biggest inspirations that I admired of my parents was the length of time they were married, 65 years. I always wanted to be in a marriage that lasted that long if not longer. I know there are struggles including ups and downs, good and bad times in relationships and I experienced that with my parents. We were taught to treat one another the way we want to be treated by others. When things do not work out in any relationship, I have learned "to keep it moving". There will be days when the sun will shine again. Starting a new chapter in my life has not been easy but the path that God has allowed me to take, I am ready "to keep it moving" to see all the blessings that awaits me. If I can encourage and uplift anyone, regardless of the age, that sometimes people are only in your life for a season. When that season is over, you will know.
