As a master cosmetologist and salon owner for twenty-two years, I have served as an international educator and natural hair specialist for Design Essentials and Natural Hair Transitions, the director of education for Essations Multicultural Products, and a professional stylist for the 2009 BET's Sunday Best season. As an activist for growth and entrepreneurship, I created Naturally Redeemed, my very own line of natural hair care products. Also, I expanded my business from being Gifted Creations Hair Salon to Gifted Creations Greater Transformation Salon, Spa and Gifted Creations Restoration Hair loss Clinic, which offered my clients a wider range of natural hair care products and services. Gifted Creations' mentorship program was also established in 2001, training young teenagers on business, leadership, multi-tasking, and customer service skills. My daughter, Chasity King, has been my partner for over thirteen years and was paramount in contributing to this hair revolution and cosmetology industry. The extent of my work has been showcased in many magazines, such as Jet Magazine, Black Hair Sophisticates, Prestige Hair, Hype Hair, and Universal Salon, just to name a few. As a committed life-long learner and global business leader, I have secured a master of business administration degree, state board license as a master cosmetologist, and medical board certification as a trichologist. In January 2020, I became a committee member of the American Hair Loss Council and a Holistic Hair Loss Practitioner. My continuous education and skill training in cosmetology, as well as being privy to cutting-edge technologies for hair loss and scalp disorder treatments, are the essential components that allow me to manage my clients' needs with a caring, comprehensive approach that encompasses critical and effective results. Becoming certified with the American Medical Certified Association as a trichologist has influenced me to collaborate with the industry's top hair resources in dermatology, hair restoration experts, and naturopath wellness doctors. My professional expertise and experience help me understand the emotional, psychological, and physical systems associated with hair loss to provide the best solutions for restoration with the most advanced technology and products.
