The story of - The Adventures of Mister Sock was inspired out of a real dilemma of a lost sock in my own dryer. Before I began writing this story in 1996, I had enrolled in cartooning classes at a local college. When it was completed, my husband and I were on a camping trip in Yosemite. My first test subjects were three children, 5-8 years old. I invited them to come and listen to a story, as we sat by the river-side. They were most attentive and loved the story. This completed manuscript has been sitting in a file since 1996. I read the story to a couple of adult friends who rejoiced with me in this creative adventure. Join with me in this adventure as you become intrigued in each chapter. Mister Sock's wanderings develop as this poor, lost and lonely sock gains greater courage, which develop with new challenging dangers through each chapter. Then, of course; everyone looks for a happy ending. May this story inspire you and your loved ones, young and old as you join in this delightful adventure.
Margo Hastings has been an Ordained Minister of the gospel since 2007. Her passion and hunger for writing and teaching the gospel began many years ago. She gives all the glory to the LORD for creativity in all her writings. Each one was inspired by the Holy Spirit. She published her first book in 2009. And her second book in 2020. The second book was a combination of six years of biblical lessons and stories. These relay the unlimited value of looking to our Savior, and trusting Him in every life circumstance. I believe that the characters in this book could be used as a coloring book for any child who loves to color pages. I pray that everyone, young or old reading this newest children's adventure story will be blessed to find the joy of the LORD.
