1We are experiencing some of the most challenging times in the life of this generation. More than ever people are willing to confess suffering with mental health. Where do we turn? The Final Storm was written with people in mind who are seeking answers to real life questions today. This book discusses the tensions and reactions to current news incidents; it discusses how people have been socialized, which impacts some of the behaviors we witness today; and yes, it presents and discusses biblical history that warns us there is more to come. Key steps to resolving many of our sufferings demand that we turn to solutions that last beyond the aspirin effect. We are experiencing the bands and waves of the coming final storm. Part of the solution is to prepare our minds and hearts so that we don't destroy ourselves by being overwhelmed with depression and anxiety. We need outlets to help us cope. That's what this book will offer. At times the solutions will be seen in encouraging short stories, and other times you will find them in hard facts of realities. Either way, if you have read other biblical self-help items, please don't pass this one up. Dr. E.N. Young, Jr. Eddie N. Young, Jr., BBS, M.Th., D.R.S., is a devout Christian of the Baptist persuasion. He once had a love for racquetball up to about the age of sixty, but with surgically repaired knees and numerous other health issues, Eddie has turned to chasing his writing dreams. Eddie considered himself shy once upon a time, and writing was his go-to way of communicating. Twenty-three years of soldiering helped him overcome many obstacles, but it was God who turned Eddie's writing dream into becoming a published author. Eddie's emphasis on rightly dividing the Word of truth stems from a biblical mandate spurred on by James 3:1, and his obedience to the call as a minister of the gospel. Finally, his dedication to his wife of 38 years is mirrored by his faithful walk in a covenant relationship with our God in Christ Jesus.
