The story, a spiritual allegory, emerged from Pat's journaling time with the Lord and is to share the gospel from a child's perspective. The stories of the Shepherd everyone seemed to know: His rescuing of lost sheep, the love each felt in His care, and knowing the Shepherd had come from the Farmer, who owned, loved and cared for all the sheep of His pastures. Sami knew of the Shepherd, but didn't know the Shepherd personally, until one day, chasing a butterfly, he suddenly found himself standing before the Shepherd Himself. Pat Hagius is a wife, mother, and grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren. Through the years, she has served and taught in women's, as well as children's, ministries. Pat's love for the scripture and storytelling often brought the scripture to life in the eyes of her young audience. Still desiring to tell the stories of the bible, she now spends most of her time writing children's books. She also loves spending time with, and enjoying, her family, friends and grandchildren.
