2Deuteronomy Chapter 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. The Polite Family shows us what can happen to our youth if we as mothers, fathers, grandparents, and all the village do not guide our youth in the ways that they should go to stay off the beaten path of disobedience. We need to begin teaching our children the Commandments, Laws, and Statutes of the Bible while they are young. The Polite Family shows how there is always Another way of doing things for the good of others. We need to teach love and not hate and that giving is better than receiving. Being polite is admirable and is highly recognized by others in our families, schools, and the communities we live in. This book is a great read while teaching children the Commandments of God. Ask them to pick out situations they think others are being polite and situations in which others are not being polite. And no matter what if we train our children now, they will never forget it when they are old. Marion "Bunny" Banner of Martinsville, VA opened up AnotherWay Day Care and Learning Center in her long time place of residence, Wilberforce, Ohio. My mother was a sticker on mannerism and that was just the way it was. I vividly remember her writing the rough drafts of her children's book. Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly. I believe that it is my duty to get "The Polite Family" published as an honor to her and all the children that she cared for. I believe that everyone that reads this book will relate to it in some kind of way. IT IS REAL TALK.
