8Short Stories of God's Love is a collection of short stories that traverse different timelines. These stories are adaptations of Bible stories that encourage young readers to take a glimpse inside the Bible and relate it to their own lives. Each story represents a person who encounters their relationship with God and how it has impacted their life. These stories teach valuable lessons and take you on a fun-filled fantasy into God's Love. I started writing because I experienced a close connection with my savior Jesus Christ! I was taught the experience of storytelling as a child when my mother would tell the love of Jesus to the youth in the community at her Good News club using flannel board pictures sharing Jesus and His love for us. She had such great passion for telling the story it made us feel like God cared so deeply for all of us that listened. We were drawn to the story as she was speaking, and I realized then the power of words that storytelling had on me. It was a delightful tool to communicate to others the love of God; by sharing His ability to bring comfort and joy and peace and love, through writing. The Bible tells us that every word will be judged and recorded, and I want to use my words to encourage and build up those who need to be lifted. Children need to be influenced by a positive message, one that will leave them looking to the future with confidence and feeling capable of being strong in the world for God, as well as feeling confident about their own life when challenges arise; they will rely on the strength from the stories we tell them. If we are in Christ Jesus, we can do all things through Him and according to His purpose that He has called us to. Philippians4:13. I have faced many afflictions in my life, but Jesus has brought me through them all. You can have victory in Jesus as well. God does love you! Please enjoy my stories. I wrote them for God and you!
