2The Smallest Step of Obedience Opens the Biggest Door by Phillip Israelson is an inspiring book which shares the author's story, detailing how God used life experiences to develop his faith and equip him to be able to help others learn biblical foundational principles for growth in Christ. Throughout its pages are lessons on being obedient, dying to self, pleasing the Lord, hearing the voice of the Lord, living a life of holiness, and waiting upon Him, which are all keys to living an abundant life in Christ. This guide full of practical teaching will help believers move more into the realm of the Holy Spirit and operate with the mind of the Lord. God is no respecter of persons, and if one yields his or her mind, will, and emotions to Him, He will use that person mightily. The cost to live such a life is worth it, as evidenced by the author's own journey of redemption and transformation. Are you ready to take the first step? Phillip Israelson lives with his wife Carolyn in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. He first worked in manufacturing and sales in Seattle, and then in commercial printing for thirteen years, where he was also the local printers' union President in Tacoma, Washington. After both working full time and attending Northwest Bible College in Kirkland, WA (1968-1972), he was called into full time ministry in 1974 as he began working with the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International as a worldwide Field Representative, inspiring men to grow spiritually and helping them learn to let the "inner man" be developed. Phillip is an ordained minister and the founder of Barnabas Ministries of Master's Resourcing Commission, a world-wide teaching ministry dedicated to the restoration of foundational principles in the body of Christ for spiritual development and individual growth in Christ. This ministry has taken him to over fifty-five countries over the past forty-five years. Phillip is now eighty-three years old and fully engaged in working for the kingdom of God.
