Just before Nate's fifth birthday, his shadow decides to start acting naughty. No one believes the boy's shadow is being disobedient. Of course, who has ever heard of such? His shadow is sneaky. It does not act out in front of adults. When the shadow starts to scare the boy instead of just playing annoying tricks, Nate needs to beg his older sister for her help. Ava (age 9 "and going on 12") is good at solving problems and loves mysteries. But the rebellious antics of Nate's Shadow are not easily solved.
