9A loose definition of irony is when something seems deliberately contrary to what one expects. The situations in This Wasn't in the Script describe real-life events that never ended as expected. Many are from my experiences as a drama/stage crew director in our local school district, and others are drawn from events that have happened to me through the years. As you read through these incidents, perhaps they will spark a similar memory or bring a chuckle.
