Silently and privately, we mourn for our children. No, they are not dead, they are healthy, living their lives and raising their families. But still, we mourn.
Knowing that even Christ was rejected by those He loved and trusted doesn't make it any easier.
The eye rolls, the snappy comebacks, the ignored calls. Many families are facing a separation between generations. The need to mend relationships with adult children has never been more urgent, especially if that division also involves a separation from God.
There is no guaranteed quick fix. No pill to make the hurt go away or app to make conversations easy. But there is a way to obtain peace. Learning to rely on Scripture, prayer, and forgiveness will provide a closer relationship with Christ and a peace that transcends understanding.
