On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was poured out like a mighty rushing wind. The nations present in Jerusalem heard the miracle of new tongues, and on the first day of the church 3000 people were born again. These early believers loved not their lives to death, and through their faith and sacrifice the world was being turned upside down. This study on the book of Acts is designed to help the student of the Bible gain a fresh look at God's living blueprint for the church. Through consolidation of references in each module, the School of Acts will quickly become a tremendous resource for churches, Bible schools, and prayer groups. Jesus is coming, and before He appears, we must be found doing. The harvest fields of the Lord demand laborers, and this study guide is a field training manual for success in life and ministry.
"I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
Matthew 16:18
The School of Acts is a study course that came out of Eric Casto's more than thirty years of ministry experience. From pastoral work in his home nation of the United States to traveling to over forty nations, as well as living in several of these nations, the work contained in this manual will bring the Christian disciple into a greater understanding of the apostolic church through the lens of the book of Acts. The heart of this work came to Eric while walking with the cross in Italy, and in particular, the city of Pozzuoli (Puteoli), where the Apostle Paul stepped out of the boat and made his way towards Rome (Acts 28:13). This time of ministry in Italy greatly impacted Eric's life and understanding of global Christianity.
