1One night, long before any of you were even a thought in the cosmos, even before your great great great grandma was born, a book was stolen. A very important one. The Book of the Lillian People. A very rare race, I bet almost none of you know about them anymore. The average Lillian Person can be even tinier than a gingerbread man. But once the book was stolen, they started disappearing because none of the new Lillian people have lived past their 12th birthday. There were not many left and most were scared to leave the comforts of their village. Dili, on the other hand, was not. Dili is the youngest member of his family. He's only 160 years old and his family members make sure he knows this. Always telling him what to do, how to do it. One day he decides that he doesn't want to put up with it anymore. Dili packs his things in his favorite sock one morning and leaves his village to seek an adventure greater than any other Lillian person has ever attempted. He has no idea what he may stumble upon, but he is positive he will find it in the deep and seemingly endless forest. Dili ends up uncovering more truths about the past of his people and must decide if he is up to the task of saving his race, and comes to appreciate what he used to have. Along the way, he meets both friend and foe. Will Dili be fruitful with the quest bestowed onto him, or will he fail his race and allow the Lillian people to become extinct?
