We all have dry spells. It could be spiritually or naturally. There are those times where it appears our options have run out or we just can't muster the strength to make it through. Some how we keep living. Some how we do get to the next day despite what it appears. The Holy Spirit leads and guides us, it restores us when we are weak and depleted. What are you as a child of God asking for today? Are we more concerned with gain in our personal lives than we are the souls of our fellow sisters and brothers? For what will it profit you if you gain the whole world yet lose your soul? Do we no longer care for those who suffer around us? I declare to you, it is better that we look more closely for the one who may be lost than at the 99 we have found. We are our brother's keeper.
As children of God we are called to save lives one by one. We are called to lay petition before the Lord to have mercy on the ones who still suffer until they receive the word of God. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ. We are called to live holy and righteous before a dying world. And in our living, it is our duty to reach back and try to bring one who may be dying in a world of sin into the glorious life of living for Christ.
